As a result of lots of hard work, last night CruiseOne/Dream Vacations was recognized by The South Florida Business Journal at its 20th annual “Business of the Year” awards reception.
This awards program was created to give recognition to organizations that build the South Florida economy through solid business practice, dedication to the community and financial growth. We were one of three honorees in our category, based on annual revenues, and were up against law firm Greenspoon Marder, P.A. and real estate firm The Keyes Company. CruiseOne/Dream Vacations was first runner up in our category, which had three finalists out of hundreds of nominations.
I believe a company that demonstrates innovation, growth, tolerance and collaboration is the epitome of what it means to be “Business of the Year,” and we exemplify these traits on a daily basis.
I am most proud of the CruiseOne/Dream Vacations culture. Working for a company that values integrity and strong relationships has been one of my greatest pleasures. We are more than just colleagues, CruiseOne/Dream Vacations franchisees are a family that rally around to celebrate good times and wins together while encouraging each other during the hard times. We don’t want to be the largest travel franchise, we want to be the best network of travel professionals. This is why we are proud to say that we are large enough to lead the industry, but small enough to care about each other. I think it shows in the support we show each other and the amazing energy we have at our events, most recently the Fort Lauderdale Regional Training.
I thank my team at headquarters for delivering a remarkable experience. They value our feedback and are constantly taking our suggestions into consideration, so we can continue being the best travel agency franchise in the country. We are a leader in South Florida and the travel industry as a whole because of our great team.
